  • Enterprise Sales Executive – Dallas TX

    Description:

    The Enterprise Sales Executive, is responsible for direct and in-direct selling Drivewyze subscription services. The Enterprise Sales Executive will reach trucking fleet management level decision makers using pre-qualified lead lists or through engagement with individual drivers for fleets through excellent telephone sales and communications skills. This individual will also develop his or her phone based revenue generation through the creation of sales leads, initiation of prospect calls, and establishment of ongoing rapport with existing and potential customers. Integrity, vision, and passion are essential for this role. The Enterprise Sales Executive will also manage in-direct sales programs working directly with one of our largest distribution partners. This individual will be responsible to acquire and facilitate ongoing growth and market penetration thru 3rd parties and will need to establish long-term strategic relationships with individuals and businesses thru the building of strong personal relationships and the development of our In-Direct channel sales partners (such as PeopleNet, Rand McNally or Omnitracs). This is a quota bearing position. He/She will be responsible for executing the Go-to- Market plans between Drivewyze and selected sales partners. The role will report directly to the VP of Sales.

    In this role you will:

    • Cold call prospects that are generated by external lead sources.
    • Qualifying opportunities involving multiple key decision makers.
    • Collaborate with Drivewyze Marketing, Product Management, Customer Service and Development, to determine necessary sales strategies & tactics.
    • Set up and deliver – via online tools – sales presentations and product/service demonstrations
    • Overcome objections of prospective customers.
    • Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls and convert them into sales.
    • Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, and prepare sales order forms.
    • Deliver qualified opportunities to Channel Partner Sales team members where appropriate.
    • Coordinate customer training as necessary.
    • Enter new customer data and update changes to existing accounts in SFDC.
    • Manage sales forecast and budget plan for the Channel.
    • Identify potential sales opportunities, define joint solutions, develop business cases, and drive go-to- market strategies.

    • Work with key stakeholders and support groups to drive and strengthen the Drivewyze Channel sales program.
    • Conduct weekly and monthly Business and Pipeline Reviews with VP of Sales.
    • Conduct High level Drivewyze/Carrier account joint value presentations.
    • Quarterly Business Reviews with our strategic partners.
    • Attend Regional Sales Kickoffs, All Hands Meetings, Customer Events and Tradeshows as required.
    • Attend periodic sales training where applicable.

    Requirements: 

    • University or college degree in Business, Marketing, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
    • Overall 5+ years of direct work experience in inside sales/Outside capacity. Industry experience (Wireless, SaaS, commercial Transportation) is desired.
    • Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and close deals while maintaining established sales quotas.
    • Solid experience in opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, call control, account development, and time management. (SFDC)
    • Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills.
    • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.

    • Three years of experience in CCTV, machine vision, ITS or traffic control systems installation, repair, and maintenance
    • Equivalent to graduation from high school, plus additional specialized training in electronics

    • Principles and practices of the use of diagnostic and utility software to locate problems and repair system equipment
    • Principles and practices of state and local traffic control guidelines

    Tasks and Activities:

    The tasks and activities for the position include but are not limited to:

    • Production responsibility from assembly through installation completion.
    • Installing and maintaining a wide variety of Imaging and ITS devices such as CCTV and digital cameras, illuminators, video detection systems, vehicle induction loops, dynamic message signs, solid state equipment, fiber optic equipment, computerized communication cables, light emitting diode lamps, and related devices and equipment for freeway, arterial roadways and government facilities; troubleshoot malfunctions, isolate defects and repair devices and equipment; verify proper device and system operation; conduct inspections and periodic preventive maintenance
    • Monitor cameras and ITS device operation through the use of a laptop computer in the field or a desktop computer in the service centre; use sophisticated ITS software, both proprietary and non-proprietary; recommend and safely complete appropriate changes for effective system operation
    • Evaluate, plan, direct, and perform repair, removal, and replacement of poles, cabinets, controllers, and other equipment; repair conduit and pull wires and cable, as needed; perform emergency repairs as needed
    • Modify or update existing cameras and ITS devices and equipment as required to optimize performance
    • Participate in the design, layout, modification, and fabrication of the ITS components used in the field; read diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and specifications for new installations and continual maintenance of cameras and ITS devices; make corrections to schematics and blueprints; assist contractors and other agencies with installation of new devices and system expansion
    • Create and maintain Production Installation and Maintenance plans
    • Estimate materials and repair parts, equipment, and tools required to work at a remote or central location; make independent technical decisions in the course of day to day maintenance activities
    • Direct and participate in a wide range of functional electrical tasks on cameras and ITS components; isolate prime power malfunctions and coordinate repairs with electrical contractors; replace power service points as needed
    • Lead and participate in complex field and bench testing procedures on a variety of camera and ITS equipment, such as closed circuit television and digital camera systems, traffic system control units, dynamic message signs, radio communication facilities, conflict monitors, incident detection systems, inductive vehicle detection systems, power service assemblies, and others; test, troubleshoot, and repair camera and ITS equipment to component level of micro processing systems; maintain and service a variety of test and repair equipment
    • Utilize proper work methods and techniques in the set up and use of equipment
    • Document work performed on all camera and ITS devices in the shop or field
    • Assist within the shop as needed with ongoing operations
