Drivewyze Adds Virginia Rest Area Notifications

Drivewyze has added temporary open/closed rest area notifications to the Drivewyze Safety Notifications service, to help drivers plan ahead and find safe places to park in Virginia. Notifications will be provided 5 miles in advance of 10 Virginia Weigh Stations which have been declared open for truck parking. This follows the addition of similar notifications for rest areas in Pennsylvania, Florida, Ohio, And Arizona.

Drivers of fleets that are enrolled in the Drivewyze Safety Notifications service will automatically receive an in-cab notice though their Drivewyze application well in advance of rest areas, along with information on whether the facility is open or closed to parking.

Interested carriers can contact their Customer Success Manager if you they are interested in activating their fleets in the Drivewyze Safety Notification service, or if you they have any questions about the temporary VA Rest Area Notifications.

Our team remains committed to helping drivers stay safe, and keeping freight moving. We appreciate everything our customers and their drivers are doing right now to keep our supply chains moving.
