Drivewyze Introduces a Fresh Taste of Mobile-Based Inspection Bypass at PeopleNet User Conference

Drivewyze participated at the heavily-attended PeopleNet User Conference XI Aug. 19 – 21 in San Antonio. Texas. The PeopleNet conference provides participants opportunities to network and learn about new and existing solutions. It attracted more than 800 attendees, including some of the largest commercial trucking fleets in North America.

As a Platinum Sponsor at the event, Drivewyze not only exhibited, but also hosted a breakout session and sponsored the event’s opening reception. The Drivewyze PreClear weigh station bypass service on PeopleNet devices received a lot of buzz. We were busy at the booth responding to a lot of quarries on how we are different from transponder-based bypass service.

This year’s conference theme was Performance Rides Onward – a focus on the increased speed of technology, data capture, communications and analytics in fleet mobility. In keeping with this theme, Brian Heath spoke at one of the breakout sessions on how the Vehicle to Infrastructure technology in commercial trucking industry is enabling the delivery of many services through a single electronic logging device such as a PeopleNet device and increasing business efficiencies for the fleets.

Drivewyze PreClear beta version is scheduled to be available to the entire PeopleNet customer base as of September. This solution comes with an Analytics service that enables fleets to see their real losses due to unplanned delays at weigh stations.

While we are excited about the buzz and success of this event, we can’t overlook the little touches at this event like the mini mints with Drivewyze logos on them! We thought they delivered a fresh taste to mobile-based inspection bypass.
