Drivewyze’s Leo Jolicouer Appears in Food Logistics’ Fleet Manager’s Guide
Leo Jolicoeur, vice president of sales and marketing for Drivewyze, discusses how  handling temperature-sensitive, perishable freight makes dealing with new federal regulations, like the new hours-of-service rules that came into effect last year, even more challenging.

Jolicouer was one of several managers and executives Food Logistics editor Lara Sowinski asked for their perspectives on the marketplace and how they’re helping fleet managers stay more competitive and compliant with state and federal regulations. Their responses appeared in the annual Fleet Manager’s Guide published in the January-February 2014 issue of Food Logistics.

“Customers, including those in the food logistics business, have told us that their fleets’ operating costs have increased, their fleet miles have dropped, and delivery delays have increased following the implementation of the new hours-of-service rules,” Jolicouer told Sowinski. That’s why having a service like Drivewyze, which reduces potential delays at weigh stations, has become an important strategy for fleet managers in the food logistics segment.
