Drivewyze Partners with INRIX to Expand State Highway Safety Programs into Connected Trucks

Modified on March 19, 2024

Drivewyze is excited to announce a new partnership with INRIX®, a leader in transportation analytics and connected vehicle services. Through this new partnership, Drivewyze be able to bring real-time notifications to truck drivers regarding dangerous slowdown, queues, and road closures, via Drivewyze’s always-on Safety Notifications service.

According to Brian Mofford, VP of Government Experience for Drivewyze, this will have a significant impact. “We’re leveraging two premier platforms to pro-actively provide critical safety information to drivers. By integrating INRIX Dangerous Slowdowns data, we can now work with states to bring real-time slowdown and queue alerts to commercial truck drivers.”

State Departments of Transportation that are interested in signing on for new service, in their jurisdictions, can contact Drivewyze or INRIX directly for more information. The Dangerous Slowdowns feature is expected to be added to the in-cab Drivewyze Safety Notifications service later this year, on a state by state basis as state DOTs decide to participate.
