Drivewyze works by connecting trucks and fleets to a network of weigh stations, inspection sites, and safety infrastructure across North America, using cellular networks and GPS technology. Our platform delivers real-time bypass opportunities, in-cab safety alerts, and compliance services directly to drivers—no transponders or roadside hardware required.
For weigh station bypass with Drivewyze PreClear, participating trucks are equipped with the Drivewyze app or integrated through supported ELD and telematics devices. As a vehicle approaches a participating weigh station or inspection site, Drivewyze securely transmits safety data, such as carrier safety scores and credentials, to enforcement partners. Based on this information and state regulations, the driver receives an in-cab notification indicating whether they are cleared to bypass or required to pull in.
In addition to bypass services, Drivewyze delivers real-time in-cab alerts for safety hazards, high-risk areas, sudden slowdowns, upcoming inspection sites, and other roadway events. These alerts help drivers make safer decisions and reduce the likelihood of accidents, violations, or delays.
Drivewyze services are powered by partnerships with enforcement agencies, telematics providers, and smart roadway initiatives. Our platform integrates seamlessly with most major ELDs and is designed for easy activation across fleets of all sizes.
Data privacy and security are built into every aspect of Drivewyze. We only share the minimum necessary information with enforcement partners, strictly for the purposes of compliance and safety.
By keeping drivers informed, reducing unnecessary stops, and improving visibility into road conditions, Drivewyze empowers fleets to operate more efficiently, reduce risk, and support driver retention.
