  • Events Specialist

    Here you will get a chance to own our corporate events strategy, highlighting your event planning skills while aligning to the company’s sales and marketing strategy. You’ll work closely with key stakeholders, including Business Development, Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing to develop our brand and interactions at our most important events and tradeshows, and across social media.     Specific responsibilities include:

    • Assist with the development and execution of a strategic event plan that supports Marketing’s objectives, in coordination with various business units and team members.     • Coordinate tradeshow logistics, including booth shipping, swag orders, internal stakeholder briefings, etc., for conferences, tradeshows, and events across North America.

    • Support event evaluation and follow-up by generating lead reports, entering and analyzing data, tracking performance, and researching and reporting on industry and market trends.     Job Requirements:

    • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Marketing role focused on event management.

  • Sales Development Representative

    The Sales Development Representative (SDR) work will focus on outbound sales strategy, specifically prospecting and filling the sales funnel with qualified opportunities. This position will spend most of its time vetting leads, making phone calls, following up, and scheduling appointments. The SDR will work with various lead types to identify opportunities that meet a minimum qualification criterion to hand off to field sales. Ideal candidates will have telephone sales experience, excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

    Job responsibilities:

    • Work various lead types defined by the sales organization to qualify or disqualify based on specific criteria.

    • Nurture a lead effectively until they are Sales Ready.
    • High volume prospecting/calling.

  • Data Developer

    We are looking for a developer to join our team who can help scale up our data platform to meet our growing needs. As part of the Drivewyze data team, you will expand the data infrastructure to support an ever-increasing customer and product list.

    About the role: Drivewyze uses an event-based model for capturing data from hundreds of thousands of devices in the field, which requires scalable storage, transformation, retrieval, and analysis. As a Data Developer, you will be working with our existing data lake and data warehouse platform to write new ingestors, ETL jobs, and warehouse schema updates. Your goal is to work with stakeholders to ensure that project business logic requirements are accurately translated into data flows and proactively anticipate data performance/scalability challenges in the project planning phase. Additionally, you will work with product development teams to assist in the development of APIs and tools that access warehouse data.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Create jobs for extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various data sources using SQL, NoSQL, Map-Reduce, and other technologies.
    • Working with stakeholders to understand project data requirements.
    • Creating ingestors for new data sources.
    • Expanding and improving existing PySpark implementation.
    • Optimizing data warehouse for performant querying.
    • Work with the data platform team to recommend data platform improvements based on project needs.
    • Identify commonalities across disparate projects to reduce redundant ETL jobs.

    Job requirements:

    • A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field/experience.

As a web application developer, your primary responsibility will be the design and development of our React-based client portal, which builds on and expands the Drivewyze platform. You can also expect to work on back-end services, APIs, supporting tools, and the CI/CD pipeline.

    Job responsibilities include:

    • Design, develop and maintain our client web portal as a member of a collaborative agile team. The tech stack includes React (with Redux, Saga, +), GraphQL, Python, Django, Node.js, Docker, Kubernetes, Lisp, Postgres, MongoDB and Microsoft SQL Server.

    • Support all test activities including developing, enhancing, and executing automated and manual test scripts and identifying and reporting software discrepancies and defects.
    • Recommend when to utilize manual testing and when to utilize automation.
    • Implement QA test frameworks and create test cases.
    • Ensure test cases are articulated effectively to enable swift execution by other members of the QA team.

    Job requirements:

    • Certificate or degree in Computing Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or in a related field.
    • Previous experience in software development and testing and experience delivering web, mobile, or other software applications.
    • Previous experience writing and executing test plans is ideal.
    • Deep knowledge and experience using different testing methods including regression testing, automated testing, smoke testing, exploratory testing, scenario-based testing, usability testing.
    • Understanding of database design and the ability to use SQL for data retrieval and manipulation.
    • Experience with programming in one or more of the following: Python, Node.js, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, C#, C++, Java, Swift, Lisp.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Self-motivated and able to work with little oversight.
