Credential Check #

The vehicle is being pulled in due to one or more issues with the vehicle credentials. This could include things like no US DOT number received or US DOT appearing out of service.

Reason Text Reason Description
Credential The carrier’s ISS score was not found or is in a monitoring state.
Pull-in Requested Law enforcement has specifically identified this vehicle to pull in.
Vehicle Image Not Approved The vehicle image has been flagged and requires approval.
Alberta R-Factor Score The carrier’s Alberta R-Factor score is unavailable or under monitoring.
Florida OOS or Invalid The vehicle is not present in Florida state records.
Temporary Nebraska Plate Records indicate the vehicle has a temporary plate and is not permitted to bypass in Nebraska.
Ontario CVOR The carrier’s Ontario CVOR number was not found or the carrier is in a monitoring state.
Ontario Out of Province Plate The vehicle was plated out of province and the NSC number was not found or the vehicle was randomly selected based on the carrier safety rating.
Newfoundland & Labrador Out of Province Plate The vehicle was plated out of province and the NSC number was not found or the vehicle was randomly selected based on the carrier safety rating.
Out of Service Records indicate that the carrier is out of service.

IFTA Check #

Reason Text Reason Description
IFTA Records show carrier’s IFTA status is invalid, in pre-verification state, or is not currently on file.

Inspection #

Reason Text Reason Description
Inspection Requested The vehicle has been requested for a inspection.
Voluntary Inspection Requested The carrier has requested a voluntary inspection.

Random #

Reason Text Reason Description
Random The vehicle was randomly selected.
Random CIRES This is a random pull in based on California CIRES registration as carrier was found to carry Hazardous Material, Hazardous Waste, or Flammable Material.

Registration Check #

There is an issue with the registration of the vehicle, either its licence plate was not found or was found to be expired.

Reason Text Reason Description
Registration Records show invalid registration, possibly due to expiration or outdated records.
License Plate Not Provided The vehicle did not provide a valid license plate.

Safety Rating #

The vehicle was pulled in randomly but at a higher rate due to an overall higher safety score in the jurisdiction it was in.

Reason Text Reason Description
ISS Score The vehicle was selected randomly factoring in the carrier’s current ISS score.
Alberta R-Factor Score The vehicle was selected randomly based on the carrier’s current Alberta R-Factor score.
Overall Violation Rate The vehicle was selected randomly factoring in the carrier’s current Overall Violation Rate.

State Taxes Check #

The vehicle was not found or was found in a delinquent status in a state tax database.

Florida Citation Overdue The vehicle is present in the Florida Overdue Citation records.
KY Weight/Distance Tax Records indicate the vehicle is required to pay a Kentucky Weight/Distance tax and has been found to be delinquent.
North Carolina FuelTacs Tax Records indicate the vehicle is required to pay a North Carolina FuelTacs tax and has been found to be delinquent.
New Mexico Weight/Distance Tax Records indicate the vehicle is required to pay a New Mexico Weight/Distance tax and has been found to be delinquent.

UCR Registration Check #

Reason Text Reason Description
Undefined Records indicate that the carrier has not paid Unified Carrier Registration or the carrier was not found.

Undefined #

Reason Text Reason Description
Undefined Undefined reasons are usually related to communication failures or currently undefined reasons.

Voluntary Inspection #

Reason Text Reason Description
Inspection Requested The vehicle has been requested for an inspection.

Weight Check #

The weight of the vehicle was either not recorded or flagged as overweight on one or more axles when traveling over a Weigh in Motion (WIM) scale.

Reason Text Reason Description
Weight Check Weigh-in-motion scale determined the vehicle needs to pull in. Often this is due to an overweight reading of one or more axles or no weight was recorded.
Weight Permit Violation Weigh-in-motion scale indicates an overweight combination which violates a permit.
Front Axle Weight Check Weigh-in-motion scale indicates that the front axle may be overweight.
Quad Axle Weight Check Weigh-in-motion scale indicates that a quad axle may be overweight.
Single Axle Weight Check Weigh-in-motion scale indicates that a single axle may be overweight.
Tandem Axle Weight Check Weigh-in-motion scale indicates that a tandem axle may be overweight.
Tridem Axle Weight Check Weigh-in-motion scale indicates that a tridem axle may be overweight.
Weight Check Unavailable Weigh-in-motion scale did not find a weight for the vehicle.
